Prepare for a two-day adventure with a night under the stars, heading to the vast Zagora Desert. Your trip will be filled with wonderful activities including a visit to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and the city of Ouarzazate. The experience ends with a camel ride on the sand and a night in a traditional tent.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora.

Your flight will depart from Marrakech around 7:30 a.m. You will cross the High Atlas mountains.

The first stop is a café in Ait Barka, about 80 kilometers from Marrakech. Enjoy the view and take some photos there.

The next stop is at the summit of Tizint Tichka, where the Atlas Mountains rise to 2,260 meters above sea level.

The first real stop will be at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a perfect example of a traditional house in southern Morocco. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.

A local guide will guide you around the Kasbah for approximately one hour. Don't miss the photo opportunity here. After Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, you will arrive in Zagora around 5:00 p.m. A camel caravan will be waiting to take you into the heart of the flat desert. You will spend the night in a traditional tent.

Enjoy a wonderful dinner and a Berber music show under the stars.

Day 2: Zagora – Marrakech.

You wake up early on the second day.

Enjoy breakfast at the bivouac.

Join a camel caravan and watch the sunrise from the flat desert.

Back in Marrakech, you will stop in Ouarzazate to visit Kasbah Taourirt. This Kasbah is considered a strategic military and commercial site, and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you are interested, you can visit the Cinema Museum in Ouarzazate. You will leave Ouarzazate around 2:00 p.m. and arrive in Marrakech around 7:00 p.m.
